There are many ways you can help.

Volunteer

 

Volunteers are needed in the following ways:

Grant Writers

Spay / Neuter Clinic Volunteers (receptionist, telephone personnel, animal caregivers, veterinarian technicians and veterinary assistants)

Educational Staff at local events (i.e. educational booths at flea markets, county festivals, pet expos)

Community Watchers (informing us of barn cats or litters of puppies or kittens in need of vet care, and communities in need of feline Trap-Neuter-Return programs)

Paper Towels

Bath Towels (terry cloth)

Hand Towels (terry cloth)

Cotton Tipped Applicators (Q-Tips)

Live traps (raccoon / cat sized)

Kennels / Crates (All sizes)

Laundry Softener Sheets

Computer Paper

Newspaper (with slick advertisement sheets removed)

Major purchases needed:

Laptop computers capable of handling newer software and Internet access

Washer & Dryer

Refrigerators (For vaccination and antibiotic.  One apartment-size needed and a few dorm-size needed.  Need to be newer models [less then 10 years old] to be energy efficient.)

Cargo van or Trailer
(to move clinical supplies from one shelter to the next)

Surgical room equipment to outfit more shelters:

Cool-Halogen lights (the lights we use currently become very warm by afternoon)
