Dear Linn at Spoiled Rotten Pets:
I have to admit that I don't really like to be gone over night, but if I do--please get me to your place!!  I like the nice new kennels and being in the country and I like the way you guys give me exercise!  You seem to really care...!

Recently my owners even decided to try your Nutro food.  Hey it is really good and I think it agrees with me a lot!  Well, I better get back  to guarding my owners etc.  See you Labor Day!!

                    Sincerely, Socks McWilliams Paton, Iowa

PS I will send you a picture so you can show the dogs, so they won't forget me!

Thank you very much for taking such good care of "Roxie" on such short notice. We were fortunate to have been able to leave our dog with you. It was good for her to be away from us for a few days. You have a wonderful facility, and we will recommend you to others.

Lady says, "My mom was about to give up on me and look for another home for me until I got my Gentle Leader collar and leash.  I was so good the first time I wore it, Mom thought Linn had switched dogs on her.  I am getting really good at listening to Mom and Dad and learning to behave even when I don't have on my Gentle Leader.  Now Mom and Dad wouldn't give me away for anything."

Pogo and Sugar say, "We like going to Spoiled Rotten Pets.  One time Linn even sat with us and distracted us when we were afraid of a storm.  We look, feel and smell soooo good after we have we have been bathed and groomed."

Dear Linn,
We want to thank you for being our "mommy" while our real mommy was in the hospital.  You kept us clean and warm when it was chilly.  You fed us our favorite food. You let us stay in the same kennel together so we didn't get lonesome for each other. What we really liked though was the play time we had with you. It was such fun to run and chase the ball and to romp with you.  Mommy also wants to thank you for the flexibility that helped her with her need for a special drop off time.  We don't want to be away from home again, but if we have to be, will you take us again?  We hope so.
                                  Love,
                                              Goodness and Merci

P.S.  Mommy typed this for us, but we told her what to say.  Her name is Doris Squires, Jefferson, Iowa

Linn,

Our Mom and Dad came home with that new dog food and some treats you had given them.  Mom gave us a treat for being good girls when she came home and they were really good.  That dog food you gave them for us to try is excellent.  We both had to have a little snack.  Dakota ate most of it but Mom said there is more.  We aren't really looking forward to being away from Mom and Dad but now we know we will be ok and taken good care of while they are gone.  We will see you Friday afternoon.

To Whom It May Concern:

This
letter is written in reference for Linn Price who will be leaving the Anchorage community shortly due to a military move.

Our association with Linn has been two-fold: through her work as the office coordinator of the Ft. Richardson Veterinary Treatment Center and as a Friends of Pets volunteer.  Prior to Linn working at Ft. Richardson, I was called to rescue pets from the facility at least once per week.  When Linn took over, she began an aggressive adoption program and was instrumental in reducing the euthanasia rates to minimal numbers.  The demand for me to "rescu
e" was significantly reduced.

Linn has excellent networking skills.  She is a self-starter and if she sees a need she will figure out a way to solve the problem by accessing the people and resources needed.  She took a very active role in assisting The Alaska Humane Society to try and increase their adoption rates and redesign their shelter space to better care for the cats in their facility.

Linn is a responsible pet owner herself and demands no less from others.  The military community benefited from her high standard
s and expectations that pets are lifetime companions.  I know she kept many military families from releasing their pets by educating them about options during transitions.

Linn was a valuable asset to our "animals welfare" community.  We will miss her energy, expertise, and sense of humor.  I have no doubt her high standards and enthusiasm will be a benefit to every community she lives in.  As a volunteer, she was reliable and fun to work with.  In an employment situation, she is organized and focused.  She will be missed and our loss will be your gain.

Sincerely,

Michele Girault
